[STORY INTRODUCTION]

・゜。✧ ─── ☽ ─── ✧ 。゜・

— Thursday, just past nine.

On your way home from work,
a sudden thunderstorm catches you in a downpour.

In the corner of a parking lot,
you find a small cat.

You can't leave it behind,
but you don't know what to do.

Then — footsteps behind you.

"Are you... alright?"

"I have a towel in my car."

The man hands you the towel
and crouches beside you
as though it were the most natural thing in the world.

His name, he said, was

Seiji Kamiya.

Gradually,
through the cat,
your lives begin to overlap.

He notices things.

The things you never said.

The pain
you had been pretending not to notice.

You had been loved.
Protected.
Given an ordinary life.

And maybe that was why
there were things you could never bring yourself to say.

His voice begins,
slowly and gently,
to loosen the knots inside you.

This is the story
of a small love
that began on a rainy night.
